FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — YMCA of the Northern Sky is kicking off its 2024 fundraising campaign.

The combination of YMCA Cass Clay and YMCA Fergus Falls has a goal of $650,000.

The F-M metro would get $500,000 with $150,000 going to Fergus Falls.

The two Ys combined forces officially in July.

Gifts from the campaign directly benefit local families.

It provides them access to the Y’s programs and services, including childcare, fitness initiatives, and activities that promote social responsibility.

It was launched at the end of September and runs through the end of November.

“The YMCA is far more than just a fitness center; it’s a trusted home for kids and families. By helping people from all walks of life improve their health and well-being, we build stronger communities,” said Rock Messerschmidt, Chair of the FM Area for the campaign.
