Moorhead Police Squad Another Night Shot Generic 1

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) — One of several men reported to be breaking into a vehicle in Moorhead last night runs from officers and threatens to set a trailer house on fire.

Police responded to the 18 hundred block of 4th Avenue South around 9 p.m.

They say 25-year-old Jeremy Person of Moorhead fled into Bennett Trailer Park and locked himself inside the bathroom in an abandoned trailer house set for demolition.

Officers used OC spray, PepperBall and K9 Kash to get him out, but that all failed.

A canister of OC gas was deployed into the bathroom and Person ran from the trailer but was stopped by K9 Kash.

Person is being held on numerous outstanding felony warrants and faces new charges of burglary, assault and fleeing.
