Expungement Clinic To Be Held On Tuesday at Recovery Engaged Communities in Moorhead

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) — Minnesotans with old, non-violent records could have them sealed.

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison’s office is holding an expungement clinic in Moorhead on Tuesday.

It’ll be held from 10 to 5 at Recovery Engaged Communities at 2900 5th Street South.

We have a link to RSVP here.

The clinic will work with those eligible for expungement and with prosecutors to file the necessary paperwork to have their records sealed.

Ellison says old, non-violent convictions should not stop people who’ve turned over a new leaf from finding a place to live, getting a good job, or obtaining an education.

He says he shares the people of Minnesota’s belief in redemption.
