WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A West Fargo High School teen has passed away. She was widely known for her many ways of giving to others.

Olivia Allen was diagnosed with Epilepsy after suffering from seizures as a young child.

We’ve done multiple stories with Olivia over the years. In 2018, she hosted a lemonade stand.

At the time, she was Miss Pre-Teen West Fargo.

Her goal was to raise $500 to help the Epilepsy Foundation as part of its “Lemonade for Livy” campaign.

She told KVRR, “It feels pretty good because I know I’m raising a lot of money and so that money goes to those kids in need. It’s basically lemonade and love.”

Olivia, now 17, also started a non–profit organization called “Warm Blanket Hugs,” providing blankets to those in need.

She was also nominated for YWCA Women of the Year in March and she held the title of Young International Woman of Service.

Her mom shared to Facebook that Olivia died Monday, October 14. She created a page called, “Be Like Olivia,” where she encourages others to find beauty in the little things and look for signs of her daughter.
