Moorhead Weekend Shooting Suspect Arrested in Fargo

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A man involved in a shooting incident in Moorhead on Saturday is now in custody.

Metro Street Crimes Unit and Fargo Police arrested 28-year-old Francis Ochiti of Fargo on Tuesday.

A hangdun was found while the search warrant was being carried out and it is believed it was used in the shooting.

Ochiti was taken to Cass County Jail and could face attempted murder charges in Clay County.

The shooting happened Saturday afternoon around one in the 3600 block of 39th Street South in Moorhead.

Nobody was hit by the gunfire.

Officers say the suspect and victim know each other.
