FARGO, N.D (KVRR) — The owners of Yum Tea have taken on another venture: Kone’s Kreamery.

According to a social media post, they will be serving some of their popular Yum Tea items and honoring gift cards and coupons at Kone’s Kreamery.

The ice cream shop was put up for sale in August by Brady Hand and his wife so they can pursue embryo adoption.

Hand says they have faced nearly four years of infertility, including two unsuccessful rounds of IVF.

He left a career in HR to run Kone’s Kreamery in 2021.

The downtown Fargo Roberts Alley located Yum Tea shop was temporarily closed this month due to staffing issues but is now back open.

The owners are also working to expand delivery services through DoorDash and Uber Eats.

They say the plan is to have the downtown location open from spring to fall but the Kone’s location will be open year-round.
