“Human Remains” in Otter Tail River Turned Out To Be Discarded Halloween Decorations

OTTER TAIL CO., Minn. (KVRR) — A spooky situation in Otter Tail County turned out to be very innocent.

Last night, the sheriff’s office got a call about possible human remains in the Otter Tail River near Fergus Falls.

But after a thorough investigation, it was determined that the remains were just Halloween decorations that had been dumped in the river for what appeared to be an “extended amount of time”.
