Wahpeton Veteran Receives New Vehicle From Progressive Giveaway

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A Wahpeton veteran received a new vehicle from Progressive Insurance’s Keys to Progress giveaway.

Edwin Little was one of ninety-six veterans across the country who received keys to a new vehicle.

Little knew he wanted to serve the country and applied to both the Navy and Air Force.

He was called to serve in the Air Force on the Alaska Pipeline in 1969.

Now, Little takes his days enjoying the time he has with family and friends.

“There’s one little thing that I cared about was my mother and father. And I’m hoping my days will be long even longer than theirs you know, I do. Have a long life. Keep on, like I said, keep on breathing like Tom Hanks said. I mean that’s all you can do you know. You just keep breathing, you hope for the best every day,” said Edwin Little, Veteran from Wahpeton.

He was given a Chevy Equinox.
