Gov. Burgum Pardon’s “Best Behaved” Grace the Turkey

BISMARCK, N.D. (KVRR) — North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum pardoned Grace the turkey in one of his last acts in office.
Burgum says Grace definitely wins the Best Behaved Award from the past eight years!
He was joined by Ag Commissioner Doug Goehring.
North Dakota Turkey Federation donated 16 frozen turkeys each to Abused Adult Resource Center and Heaven’s Helpers Soup Cafe in Bismarck.
Burgum also thanked North Dakota’s seven turkey farms, which produce about 1 million birds annually.
And all our farmers and ranchers for producing the food served at our tables on Thanksgiving and all year round!
Burgum leaves office next month and has been nominated to become the next Interior Secretary.
