Lakes Country Business Owner Killed in Head-On Crash on Friday Afternoon

OTTER TAIL CO., Minn. (KVRR) — A Fergus Falls business owner is dead after a head-on crash near Ottertail on Friday afternoon.
The state patrol has identified the woman as 27-year-old McKayla Schicker.
They say she crashed into a boom truck on Highway 78 being driven by 23-year-old Henry Gibbs of Battle Lake.
He has non-life threatening injuries.
The patrol says Schicker was not wearing a seat belt.
A GoFundMe account has been set up for her five kids.
The single mother owned Bev’s Donuts in Battle Lake and had just purchased Bev’s Bakehouse in Wadena.
