It’s The Last “Taco Tuesday” for Red Pepper East in East Grand Forks

EAST GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — This is the last “Taco Tuesday” at Red Pepper East in East Grand Forks.

The restaurant is closing for good at the end of the day after 30 years.

They are only accepting cash today.

A social media post says the owner, Vicki Ryan, died in June and the current operators decided to close the restaurant due to the current economy.

They announced the closure with a “heavy” heart.

Red Pepper East has been in its current location since right after the 1997 flood and was well known for its specials and grinders.
