UPDATE: Body of Missing Teen Recovered After ATV Goes Through Ice Near Longville, MN

CASS CO., Minn. (KVRR) — The search has ended for the body of a teen who went through the ice on an ATV on Blackwater Lake near Longville, Minnesota.

The 18-year-old male was with a 20-year-old male when they went through the ice last night before 6 p.m.

Their location was calculated using 911 mapping technology.

Responders and deputies arrived and rescued the 20-year-old from the water.

He was treated for exposure and hypothermia before being taken to a St. Cloud Hospital.

The body of the 18-year-old was recovered just before 1 p.m. Tuesday.

An autopsy is scheduled with the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Identification of the victims is being withheld pending notification of family members.
