Sheriff investigating ‘serious assault’ in Horace

HORACE, N.D. (KVRR) – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is investigating what’s being called a “serious assault” in Horace.

Around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, deputies and emergency medical personnel were called to the Sheyenne Trailer Court where the caller said a group of people were assaulting someone.

The suspects were gone by the time deputies arrived.

The victim was taken to a hospital by ambulance with non life-threatening injuries.

The Sheriff’s Office believes the people involved know each other and the assault is an isolated incident.
