GoFundMe Page Started, Other Fundraisers Held for Family of Freddy Mendoza

Mendoza was killed early Wednesday morning in West Fargo when he was struck by a car.

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The family of Freddy Mendoza, as well as other community members, are attempting to raise money for his funeral costs and other expenses that have come up as a result of his untimely passing.

A GoFundMe page has been created, raising nearly $3,000 as of this evening.

Mendoza’s family members have also taken to Facebook to solicit donations.

Mendoza is being remembered as a beloved father, grandpa, and husband, who brought an uncommon work ethic to his profession as a barber.

The GoFundMe says all funds raised will go directly toward funeral arrangements and helping Freddy’s family with living expenses as they navigate this difficult time.
