LIVE: It’s a Yippie Kay Yay Christmas

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – Yippie Kay Yay! The directors at Stage West are bringing a new take on a hotly debated Christmas classic to the stage.

“A Very Die Hard Christmas” is a musical parody of the controversial holiday classic, with 80’s jokes and smooth rock jams accompanying John McClane’s battle against terrorist Hans Gruber.

They’re promising a performance with a lot of action, laughs and something different for your holiday season.

They say it’s all part of setting themselves apart and doing something unique.

“I think specifically with something like Die Hard, it’s not a traditional show.  It would have been easy to do something like A Christmas Carol, and it would have sold, and it would have been fantastic. But Stage West is really taking, kind of, the ball, and trying to hit it out of the park.”
