Local Volunteers Set Up A Skate Street Outside of Hjemkomst Center

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) — Residents in the Fargo and Moorhead area will soon be able to ice skate along Skate Street.

The new winter attraction was set up by local volunteers for the past few weeks.

The area has a long ice-skating route with an array of lights strewn across the secluded area.

Each day the lights will come on after dusk.

While the weather has slushed most of the ice, the City of Moorhead hopes people will return to skate once it chills again.
