Essentia Health Unveils Top Baby Names At Its Hospitals in Fargo and Detroit Lakes

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Essentia Health is sharing the top baby names picked at its hospitals in Fargo and Detroit Lakes for 2024.

At Essentia Health-Fargo the top name for boys is Beau or Bo and Theodore with eight each.

Seven baby boys were named Brooks while seven others were named Maverick.

For the girls variations of Adaline topped the list: Adaline or Adalynn or Adeline or Adelyn.

Followed by Charlotte and Quinn.

The hospital delivered 1,177 babies this year.

At Essentia Health St. Mary’s-Detroit Lakes the top boys name was Maverick followed by Leo and Oliver.

For the girls, Elle or Ellie and Willow tied for the top name.

They were followed by Aurora, Charlotte, various spellings of Everlee and Wrenlee, Hazel, Josie, Lilly and Violet.

Doctors delivered 476 babies this year at St. Mary’s Detroit lakes.
