Moorhead Man Arrested After Short Pursuit in West Fargo

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A brief pursuit in West Fargo early this morning lands 42-year-old David Jacobsen of Moorhead behind bars.

West Fargo Police saw a man passed out behind the wheel of a car parked at Circle K on 13th Avenue East just after 1 a.m.

When an officer tried to make contact with Jacobsen, he drove off.

Officers deployed stop sticks and Jacobsen drove over them but continued on 13th Avenue East.

A PIT maneuver was used to stop the vehicle.

Jacobsen was arrested for fleeing, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension, and multiple outstanding warrants.
