Fargo Officers Use Automated License Plate Reader To Track Down Fleeing Suspect

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Fargo Police use an automated license plate reader to track down the driver of a vehicle that sped past them and refused to stop.

It led them to a home in the 1500 block of 34th Avenue South early Tuesday evening and they spotted 32-year-old Taylor Meyer getting back into the vehicle.

He ran back inside the home but was arrested about a half hour later after speaking with officers.

Meyer is accused of refusal to halt, fleeing and has active felony warrants for drugs out of Clay County and a Cass County warrant for refusal-to-halt.
