Cares for Kids Radiothon Sets A Record

Radiothon

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — The 25th annual Cares for Kids Radiothon wrapped up Friday afternoon at Midwest Communications in Fargo, and it was a record-breaker.

Children’s Miracle Network’s Hillery Mork says this year the fundraiser brought in just over $226,000 for Sanford Children’s Hospital.

That far surpasses the previous record of $185,000 set last year.

Cares for Kids Radiothon, hosted by KFGO, Froggy 99.9, and Y94, was held Thursday and Friday and included inspiring stories of hope and courage.

One hundred percent of every dollar raised helps care for kids at Sanford by providing services, supplies, and research for kids at the hospital.

Families travel from across the state to receive care.
