Man Arrested in Nevada For Alleged Sex Crimes Involving Children in Beltrami County, MN

BELTRAMI CO., Minn (KVRR) — A man is arrested in Douglas County, Nevada for sex crimes that happened over the course of two years in Beltrami County, Minnesota and in Alpine County, California.

Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office says 24-year-old Thomas Humiston was arrested in Nevada on January 30 for first degree criminal sexual conduct.

An investigation revealed that Humiston abused two separate victims: one was eight the other ten.

The FBI was involved in the investigation due to the severity of the alleged crimes and for occurring in different states.

Humiston is awaiting extradition back to Beltrami County.

The investigation is ongoing.
