Four Fire Crews Respond To Barn Fire in Rural Winger, MN

POLK CO., Minn. (KVRR) — Fire crews from Winger, Fertile, McIntosh and Fosston respond to a barn on fire in rural Winger, Minnesota.

Polk County Sheriff’s Office says the call came in around 8:30 this morning from 41334 240th Avenue Southeast.

When crews arrived they could see that the barn was smoldering.

All of the livestock were evacuated.

Essentia Ambulance was on scene but no injuries were reported.

The State Fire Marshal determined the fire was started by hay that caught on fire in the loft.

The fire is believed to be electrical in origin.
