Water Main Break Shuts Down Lane of Traffic in Moorhead

The city says the lane will remain closed for a week while repairs take place.

MOORHEAD, MN – People in Moorhead are going to see some traffic restrictions over the coming week thanks to another water main break.

This one is located on 8th Street South, between 4th and 5th Avenues near Gate City Bank.

Crews have already started repair work on the ruptured water main.

As a result of that work, one lane will be shut down in the southbound direction.

Moorhead expects the lane to remain closed for one week, assuming the weather does not delay the repair at all.
