Fire Causes Significant Damage and Displaces Residents of a House in South Fargo

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Fargo firefighters respond to a report of smoke coming from a house that was locked and unoccupied around 5:45 p.m.

Crews forced their way inside the house at 5533 20th Street South and found a fire on the second floor.

They had it out within 10 minutes.

They say the house sustained significant damage and a cost estimate is still being worked on.

It also displaced the residents who were not home at the time of the fire.

Fargo Fire Department says itĀ appears to be accidental in nature, but the cause remains under investigation.
