JOANN Fabrics To Close All 800 Locations After More Than 80 Years in Business

JOANN Fabrics announces it will close all 800 locations and go out-of-business after more than 80 years.

Earlier this month, the retailer announced that it would close 500 stores across the country after filing bankruptcy.

JOANN Fabrics locations in Fargo, Grand Forks, Bemidji, Hibbing and Brookings in our region will be closing.

The company says that subject to court approval, the winning bidders for its assets plan to wind-down ongoing operations and conduct going-out-of-business sales at all JOANN locations.

JOANN filed for bankruptcy last month, for the second time in a year.

The retailer blamed the filing on severe and unexpected inventory issues.
