Man Changes Plea To Guilty In Fatal Pedestrian Hit-And-Run In South Fargo

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A plea deal is reached for the man charged with leaving the scene of a fatal pedestrian crash near Walmart on 52nd Avenue South in Fargo in December.
23-year-old Alex Cruz has pleaded guilty to failing to stop for an accident involving death and driving under suspension.
Cruz hit and killed 36-year-old Robyn Krause of Fargo while she was crossing the street around 6:30 a.m. on December 23.
He had already been cited for speeding four times in 2024 including one citation for driving 23-miles-an-hour over the limit in West Fargo.
Cruz will be sentenced on March 24.
