Former Longtime Fargo Housing Authority Director Dies at 76

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — The man who led Fargo Housing Authority for decades has died.

Lynn Fundingsland died Tuesday at the age of 76.

The Minot native was a Vietnam veteran and earned a masters degree from NDSU in community planning.

He used that knowledge to direct public housing and redevelopment authorities in Becker County and then in Fargo.

He retired from the housing authoritity in 2017.

A celebration of life is planned for Sunday from noon to 2 at The Rourke.
