LIVE: Young violinist attempting to play the National Anthem in all 50 states

FARGO(KVRR) — Violinist Sabrina Patel may only be 12 years old, but she’s already making waves across the country.

She’s on a mission to perform the National Anthem at events in all 50 U.S. states, including playing in the MLB Playoffs before a game between the Houston Astros and Texas Rangers.

And at the Fargo Force game tonight she’ll mark North Dakota down as her 31st.

Sabrina has been playing the violin since she was 4 years old, and while it has kept her schedule pretty packed, she’s loved every moment of the journey so far.

“Most other girls at the age of 12 don’t really get this opportunity, and I’m so grateful to have this amazing opportunity. It’s always so cool, because my goal when I first started this was to meet new people, honor the country and just spread my music and stuff.”
