Fire departments from several communities battle fire in downtown Perham, Minnesota

PERHAM, Minn. (KVRR-KFGO)—Fire crews battled a massive fire in Perham, Minnesota.

The fire was reported shortly before 4:30 a.m. Friday.

Police said the fire appears to have started in a large commercial building with shared businesses located in the 300 block of West Main Avenue. It was engulfed in flames.

Mutual aid from several area communities were called in to help battle the fire and prevent the blaze from spreading to other buildings.
