Motorcycle Involved In Friday Night Crash on 52nd Avenue South Was Clocked Going 140 MPH Earlier

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — The same motorcycle involved in a crash on 52nd Avenue & 31st Street South in Fargo Friday night was clocked going 140 miles an hour earlier in the evening.

Highway Patrol says the 20-year-old rider suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

He was wearing a helmet and his name hasn’t been released.

The 79-year-old woman driving the car he crashed with and an 82-year-old passenger have minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.

When law enforcement clocked the rider going 140 miles per hour earlier in the evening, they declined to pursue him due to safety reasons.
