Suspected Early-Morning Homicide in Moorhead

Police believe the individuals involved were known to each other, but still say their suspect is dangerous and should not be approached.

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) – A man was shot to death in Moorhead this morning in what appears to be a brazen act of homicide.

The Moorhead Police Department responded to the 2700 block of 14th Street South at around 9:30 A.M.

A male victim was discovered, suffering from a gunshot wound, and despite lifesaving efforts, he would die at the scene.

The suspect in this shooting reportedly fled in a newer Chevrolet midsize SUV, which is light green in color.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

However, police do suspect that this attack was not random, meaning the individuals could have been known to each other.
