Change of Plea For Teen Charged With Numerous Counts of Terrorizing and Gross Sexual Imposition

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A trial is canceled for a teen charged with terrorizing and having sex with two underage girls.
19-year-old Carter Hammer of Fargo changed his pleas to guilty to eight counts of terrorizing with a dangerous weapon for an incident last summer when he was waving a gun around during an argument among a group of car enthusiasts.
Hammer also changed his plea to guilty for gross sexual imposition with a victim under 15 and corruption of a minor.
Another gross sexual imposition charge was dropped.
During an interview, Hammer admitted to being in a “situationship” with a 15-year-old girl and says the sex was consensual.
He also had sex with a 14-year-old girl.
Hammer will now undergo a pre-sentence investigation.
