Scheels’ Fish Fest Kicks Off

Fishing season is just around the corner for Minnesotans.

FARGO, N.D. – The Minnesota fishing opener is just a couple weeks away, and Scheels will be holding their annual Fish Fest for next two weekends.

Anglers will be able to meet with fishing industry experts to learn the latest tips and tricks when dropping their lines in the water.

Scheels is also awarding prizes worth a grand total of four-thousand dollars.

On Friday, the first one hundred customers were given a free, five-gallon Scheels bucket.

Fishing enthusiasts are encouraged to come out to stock up and sharpen their skills.

“Fish fest is the greatest kickoff to the Minnesota opener you can possibly imagine,” said Caryn Olson of Scheels.

“Normally we have a big tent in the parking lot, but this year, because we have our fishing ad going at the same time, all the action is right here inside the store both this weekend and next weekend.”

The events run the weekends of April 25 and May 2 from 9 A.M. until 6 P.M.
