Teen Driver Rescued After Being Thrown From Circling Boat on Lake Miltona

DOUGLAS CO., Minn. (KVRR) — A boat is left going in circles on Lake Miltona, north of Alexandria, Minnesota, after throwing it’s 15-year-old driver overboard.

It happened early Saturday afternoon.

The boy was able to call 911 while yelling for help.

He was not wearing a life jacket.

The teen was rescued by a person with a pontoon and was treated by medics on the lake shore.

A local dock and lift company was able to stop the unoccupied boat.
