Concert Series: Farm Aid 40 Is Minneapolis Bound, Jo Dee Messina Is Heading Back To Mahnomen

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Minnesota is going to play host to Farm Aid for the very first time in the fall.

Farm Aid 40 will be held at Huntington Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, home of the Gophers, on Saturday, September 20.

Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, Neil Young, Dave Matthews and Margo Price will headline the event honoring the four-decade legacy of advocacy for thriving family farms.

In addition to a full day of music, there will also be homegrown food and agricultural experiences.

Ticket prices range from $101 to $390 plus sales tax.

They will be available starting Friday morning at 10 online at FarmAid40.org.

The singer behind that song and dozens of other hit country songs is heading back to Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen.
