Fargo Cass Public Health Plans 2nd Measles Vaccine Clinic After Low Turnout

Measles

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Fargo Cass Public Health has scheduled another Measles, Mumps & Rubella walk-in vaccine clinic.

This second clinic will be held on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the clinic at 1240 25th Street South in Fargo.

Appointments are not necessary and it is for those currently recommended to receive the vaccine.

You are asked to present your insurance information.

If you are uninsured, the vaccine is covered under both Vaccines for Children and Vaccines for Adults programs, meaning there is minimal cost.

Public health’s first M-M-R walk-in last week only had 30 people show up during the 6 hour clinic.

It was prompted by the state’s first measles cases in 14 years.
