West Fargo Police Arrest Man After Vehicle And Foot Chase Saturday Night

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — An Argusville, North Dakota man faces a number of charges after a weekend pursuit in West Fargo that ended in a field.

Police attempted to stop 48-year-old Billy Kopperud for a traffic violation late Saturday night in the 1200 block of 9th Street Northeast.

They say Kopperud fled and tried to drive through a field before getting out of the car and fleeing on foot.

He was quickly caught by officers.

Kopperud was arrested for fleeing, possession of meth, driving under suspension, fleeing a peace officer on foot and multiple outstanding warrants.
