Teen motorcyclist has serious injuries after pursuit and crash late Saturday night in Traill County

TRAILL CO., N.D. (KVRR) —  A 19-year-old motorcyclist from Gardner, North Dakota has serious injuries after a pursuit and crash late Saturday night.

North Dakota Highway Patrol says it happened around 9:30 p.m. about five miles south of Hillsboro on Traill County Highway 81.

They were notified of a reckless driver on I-29 near the Mayville exit and the driver failed to stop.

He left the interstate and failed to negotiate a curve in the highway and rolled his motorcycle.

Troopers on on scene provided medical aid before he was life flighted to a local hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
