Celebrating Father’s Day in the F-M Area
There were plenty of great deals for Dad if you knew where to look.
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR)- It is Father’s Day, and many businesses in the region offering special promotions to help families celebrate the dads in their lives.
Junkyard Brewing Company in West Fargo teamed up with Sandy’s Donuts for a giveaway.
Each dad that stopped in for a drink also received a free donut.
They said it was a natural partnership, with how much dads love their sweet treats, and with the two businesses being so close to each other.
“We know our dads love donuts, and the kids love them too, so it’s just a fun way to bring everyone in and enjoy our space and be together!” said Callie Navarathne.
Red River Zoo offered free admission for all fathers.
Many families were seen roaming the zoo together after enjoying the discount.
Zoo staff took the opportunity to point out the behavior of some of the dads they have on display.
Other events around the region included pop-up shops at Brewhalla, a car show at the rail district in Dilworth, and brunch specials at countless restaurants.
