FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — If you want to see a time capsule from 1975 be opened then you’ll want to head to downtown Fargo next Thursday.

The time capsule buried during the Fargo-Moorhead Centennial Celebration in 1975 will be opened on June 26 in the Civic Center Plaza.

The celebration will feature food, music and fun from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The time capsule opening ceremony is scheduled for 5 p.m., with officials unsealing the concrete vault to reveal the items stored inside for the past 50 years.

It’s the centerpiece of Fargo ’70s Retro Rewind, a series of events honoring the community’s past.
