FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Juneteenth is tomorrow but Fargo is planning its community celebration for Saturday, June 21.

Human Rights Commission and City Administration Office are helping to sponsor the annual celebration curated by the community group Fred’s Dissonance.

An educational series will be held from noon to 3 at Black Coffee and Waffle Bar followed by a community block party and festival from 3 to 9 in Broadway Square in Downtown Fargo.

The inclusive, family-friendly event will feature soul food, live performances, a dance party and a scavenger hunt.
