Multiple Semis Overturned in Severe Storms

ECKELSON LAKE, N.D.  – Traffic is back open along I-94 near Eckelson Lake at mile marker 278 after two semis overturned in the high winds in severe storms and tornadoes on the interstate here, along with other semis turned over on the interstate in Stutsman, Barnes and Cass Counties.

North Dakota highway patrol officials said the drivers managed to get out of the vehicles without injury during the severe storms.

Highway safety patrol said their troopers responded immediately to help motorists and control traffic.

They are reminding drivers to drive cautiously in storm-affected areas.
