Memorial service to mark two years since Fargo Police Officer Wallin was killed in the line of duty

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Fargo Police will hold a memorial service to honor fallen Officer Jake Wallin on Monday at 9 a.m. at police headquarters.

Wallin was killed in the line of duty by a gunman on July 14, 2023.

Officers Andrew Dotas and Tyler Hawes were shot and wounded during the ambush.

Officer Zach Robinson shot and killed the gunman.

The ceremony will include a flag-lowering by Fargo Police Honor Guard, remarks from Chief Dave Zibolski and Police Chaplin Pastor Jonas Bundy and a video commemorating Officer Wallin’s service and sacrifice.
