Dr. Tom Strinden, husband of Lt. Gov. Michelle Strinden, dies at 63

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Dr. Tom Strinden, husband of Lt. Gov. Michelle Strinden of Fargo, died Sunday after a year-and-a-half battle against brain cancer.
He was a partner at Bagan Strinden Vision and had an eye surgical practice in Fargo since 1995.
Strinden received his medical degree from the UND School of Medicine and completed his Ophthalmology residency at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Gov. Kelly Armstrong issued a statement saying in part, “Tom valiantly fought cancer the same way he lived his life – with an unshakable faith in his savior Jesus Christ and an unwavering commitment to his family”.
In addition to his wife, Michelle, he leaves behind four kids.
His father was former North Dakota House Majority Leader Earl Strinden who died in 2022.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
Dr. Tom Strinden was 63.
