Salmonella outbreak tied to frozen sprouted beans sickens 11 people, 1 in Minnesota

ATLANTA (KVRR) — A Salmonella outbreak linked to frozen sprouted beans has sicked eleven people across the country including one person in Minnesota.
Four people have been hospitalized, and no deaths have been reported.
Chetak LLC Group recalled Deep brand frozen sprouted moong beans and frozen sprouted moth beans on July 16.
Most people infected with Salmonella develop diarrhea, fever, and stomach cramps 6 hours to 6 days after being exposed to the bacteria.
You should not eat the recalled beans, instead throw them away or return them.
Also wash any items and surfaces that may have touched the recalled beans using hot soapy water or a dishwasher.
