Forget about the cash, Alerus Center is going cashless this fall

Alerus Center NEW LOGO Use 2025

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — Alerus Center is going cashless this fall.

Starting with UND’s football home opener on Saturday, September 6, most purchases made inside Alerus Center will be cash-free.

Parking and a majority of concession stands will only accept debit, credit, or pre-paid cards, and gift cards.

Cash will still be accepted when buying tickets at the Transystems Box Office.

Oak View Group, which manages the center, says going cashless will improve the speed of service and elevate the overall guest experience.

Limited cash options will still be available for private events such as weddings, banquets and trade shows.
