Scheels’ Hunting Expo Features Dog Jumping Competition

The jumps started on Friday and didn't let up until later in the day Saturday.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – Dogs were soaring through the sky all weekend out by the Scheels on 45th Street in Fargo.

DockDogs hosted a jumping competition for competitors of all ages and abilities.

It was part of the Scheels Hunting Expo which began on Friday, the 1st, and stretched into Saturday.

Dog trainers say that seeing their pups succeed is a wonderful experience.

“Well, I’m not gonna lie, I do cry often, because I’m so excited that they are progressing, doing what we’ve been training and stuff like that,” gushed Kelsie Burza, administrator for DockDogs and a competitor herself.

There were also vendors on-site selling various dog accessories – and Turtle Mountain Animal Rescue brought in some adoptable pups to hopefully help them find a forever home.
