MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) — Fargo-Moorhead’s first arcade and brewery is closing its doors.

In a social media post, Pixeled Brewing Co. co-owner Nick Hill wrote that “I powered down my games for the last time and we will be closing permanently.”

The business on 1100 NP Avenue in Fargo  opened in 2018 and gave people a chance to play the arcade games they knew and loved while enjoying a beer.

Hill wrote that he never started Pixeled to get rich, rather he just wanted to share his love of 80s arcade games with the community.

Kids were even allowed on Sundays from noon until 6 p.m.

When it opened, Pixeled had around 55 arcade games with both modern games and games dating back to the 1970’s.

Hill thanks everybody for playing his games.

KVRR featured the business and its opening in 2018 in the video below.
