GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — Bad news for people hoping to fill themselves up with free fries during Potato Bowl USA in Grand Forks.

The weather has forced organizers of the French Fry Feed to reschedule the event.

As they say, the event is getting tossed like a hot potato.

Is has been moved from tonight to Saturday’s UND Tailgate Football Party at Alerus Center from 2 to 4:30.

Fries, sponsored by Simplot, will be served from the Bud Light Tailgate Village.

If you plan to park at Alerus Center, they do charge a parking fee.

All other Friday and Saturday events are moving full steam ahead for the 59th annual Potato Bowl.
