Fargo Police Department Looking for Attempted Murder Suspect
The department says the 23-year-old woman viciously assaulted a man, resulting in his hospitalization.
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The Fargo Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in locating a 23-year-old woman they’re seeking to charge with attempted murder.
The department says the assault in question took place on Friday, September 5, at about 5:40 A.M. near the 700 block of College Street North. Officers say when they arrived, they found a man with significant injuries. He is now recovering at a local hospital.
Police have identified Lena Deoliveira of Moorhead as their prime suspect. Deoliveira and the victim were known to each other.
She is described as being 5 foot 7, weighing approximately 130 pounds, and having brown hair and brown eyes.
If you see Lena, you are instructed to not approach her or attempt to apprehend her. Instead, call police (9-1-1) immediately and provide as much detail as possible – including location, direction of travel, clothing description or anyone she may be with.
